So…. who’s up for a midnight showing of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, part 1, at midnight on Thursday Nov 18th, meaning that’s actually Wednesday night the 17th?
I’m coming back from Houston that day, barring airline mishaps, flight lands around 6pm. I’m figuring the best place to get a group together is the Regal Fenway Cinema, where they will have it on TEN SCREENS, at 12:01, 12:02, 12:03 etc… Last year they weren’t very picky about people going into the specific showing on their ticket either, as long as you got a seat.
We don’t have to sit together, of course, but it’d be fun to see some of my geektastic fandom peeps there! And how about a run to Chinatown for food afterward? I will have my car.

The movie release is Friday, November 19, so it would actually be the night of Thursday, November 18. And I’d love to come… except for the whole being in CT thing. 🙁
Yeah, the theater website says “Thursday Nov 18, 12:01 am” but then when you click through is says in parentheses (Friday morning) — as if psssst hey …
And can you believe it? Between my post and trying to buy the tickets it sold out on ALL TEN SCREENS! Gah. So I had to buy Boston Common instead.
