I should have done this years ago, but I’m finally getting around to it now! I’m starting an email newsletter about… me. What I’m writing, where I’m going, what I’m thinking about next. If it’s anything like my Twitter or Instagram there’ll also be occasional recipes and cat pictures thrown in. I also plan to release special short stories, bonus chapters, and other special things that will only be available through the newsletter.
Why an email newsletter? Because Facebook has throttled Pages to the point where not even 1% of my followers there are seeing my posts. Because Google+ just laid off 1200 employees (!) and might go the way of Google Reader, Google Wave, and numerous other Google “products.” Because Twitter could decide they can’t monetize and go belly up tomorrow if they feel like it. Livejournal goes down every time there’s political unrest in Russia… which if you read the news you know is pretty much all the time, now.
So, here’s the deal. On May 7th I’ll send out the first Monthly Missive. Everyone who is on the list by then will receive an exclusive erotic short story that’s never been published anywhere else.
